Your Role 


Medicaid Data Analytics Scrum Masters ensure that development teams adhere to Agile Scrum theory and practices as well as comply with required project delivery processes. The Scrum Master coaches and provides motivation to the team. They work to maintain a proper work environment for the team and remove obstacles. The Scrum Master facilitates the Agile delivery process by helping to resolve impediments, creating an environment conducive to team self-organization, capturing data used to adjust forecasts, shielding the team from external interference and distractions to keep it in a group flow, and promoting continuous improvement practices through sprint retrospectives. Ideally, a Medicaid Data Analytics Scrum Master uses prior experience to assist the team through the unique challenges of data analytics project delivery.

 

General Responsibilities

 

Deliver formal training and ongoing coaching to the Scrum team, platform team, and other stakeholders

Maintain a current and thorough understanding of the account's approve Agile delivery processes

Engage in all Agile Scrum ceremonies (i.e. Sprint Planning, Demonstrations, and Retrospectives) and other team activities as needed

Proactively identify and resolve impediments

Promote development team self-organization

Configure Microsoft TFS and other project management tools to support project delivery

Use Microsoft TFS to monitor Agile delivery performance

Produce regular Agile delivery performance reports

Contribute to the account's Scrum Master Community of Practice

Assist the Program Manager and Project Manager with project administration and team leadership as needed

Share accountability in overall delivery success



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • Scrum Master Certification
  • 1+ year(s) – Scrum Master experience delivering technology projects
  • 1+ year(s) – Working using Microsoft TFS for Agile Delivery
  • 2+ years – Other technology delivery roles (i.e. business analyst, tester, developer, project manager)
  • 2+ years – Proficient Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Preferred Skill Requirements
    • Data warehousing or data analytics project delivery experience
    • TX Medicaid business and systems knowledge
    • Team/Development Lead experience
    • SQL
    Professional Skill Requirements:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Be able to drive/display ownership/proactive behavior
    • Attend client based meetings
    • Managing the project efficiently
    • Conducting presentations for the employees
    • Working with different project managers
    • Analyzing the technical customer requirements
    • Development of client specific solutions
