The F5 BigIP Appliance Specialist owns one or more security technologies inside AWS environments including design, implementation, operations & maintenance. The Specialist will support the following responsibilities: Interface with project managers regarding schedule and level of effort of the above activities; The F5 Specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the F5 BIG IP appliance infrastructure supporting the build team. Furthermore, the Specialist will be required to perform all F5 LTM load balancer functions to include: creating virtual servers, pools/pool members, nodes, monitors, iRules etc. Furthermore, the Specialist will be responsible for all load balancer support for cloud service provider (AWS). You will develop and maintain documentation including designs, drawings, deployment plans, installation guides, job aids and operation and maintenance guides as well as understand aspects of the technologies and its operation.
- 3+ Years Network Engineering experience in an enterprise environment
- 2+ years experience with designing and administering F5 BigIP Appliance
- US Citizenship required (dual citizenship not eligible for consideration)
- Familiar with F5 architecture
- Hands on knowledge with TCP/IP and UNIX/LINUX variants
