You are eager to put your skills to use by helping us help our clients inject security at every level of their organization.

 

The Work

In this role you will help enhance the insider threat defense capabilities of our clients by leading efforts to design and implement improved threat detection processes, technologies, and use cases such as Exabeam UBA.

 

Daily activities will include engineering of insider threat processes and workflows which our clients can adopt into their existing security operations environments. These processes include monitoring of cybersecurity insider threats, rule creation and tuning, as well as response, investigation, and reporting of active insider threats.

 

You will work closely with internal security operations teams across both cyber and physical security to tailor the insider threat program according to the organization's unique aspects to ensure long-term success. You’ll use your deep experience designing and implementing technical and administrative controls to help our clients prevent, detect, and respond to insider threats across both cyber and physical security domains.



Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Experience defending against insider data exfiltration and modification, including UEBA and DLP
  • Experience designing and implementing technical and administrative controls to prevent, detect, and respond to insider threats across both cyber and physical security domains.
  • Experience with insider threat analysis, mitigation and program design.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, review and finalize insider threat workflows, policies, procedures, guidelines, and training.
  • Thorough understanding of a SOC or similar environment methodology, including threat monitoring, intrusion detection, analysis, threat determination, incident handling and remediation tracking.
  • Experience interpreting data from network security tools and infrastructure technologies such as SIEM, firewall, proxies, IPS/IDS devices, full packet capture (FPC), and email platforms.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Knowledge of cyber threat landscape, including types of adversaries, campaigns, and the motivations that drive them.
  • Experience with maturing Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)
  • Experience documenting and analyzing investigation results in a case management system.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present executive level insider threat briefings.
