Test Engineering Manager – New York, NY

Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Manager in New York, NY to plan, construct, and execute test scripts through the use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or clients. S/he will perform the following duties: develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures; determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts; create test models (plans, data and scripts), including test data; execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases; execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing; review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) is properly addressed; facilitate structured walk-through and peer reviews; understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management; work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications; Analyze, requirement gathering, preparation of test plan document and estimation of Testing Deliverables; Automate manual test scripts using selenium, BDD framework, SeeTest, Appium, SOUP UI, JAVA and Bit Bucket; and prepare test scripts in selenium and test execution during release for Pre and POST validation.

This position requires international travel approximately 80% of an average work week.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field. In lieu of bachelor’s degree, the  employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training, or experience is 3 years of study towards any US Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience in the IT field. This position also requires5 years of experience as an Testing Engineering Senior Analyst, Application Developer, or  in a related IT position plus the following experience: 3 years of experience with Business Analysis and Functional Test Planning as part of designing and implementing a Testing Strategy;  5 years of experience with functional and automation testing using following tools: Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Selenium, TOSCA, or Agile Requirement Designer (ARD); 4 years of experience in CRM Applications, Mainframe Testing, API Testing(REST, SOAP, Microservices), Database Testing, IVR Testing, and Service Virtualization and ETL Testing; 4 years of experience implementing an end to end automation framework that leverages following technologies: Java; Cucumber BDD; Selenium, UFT, TOSCA, and Jenkins; 4 years of experience in supporting testing activities for production and post implementation issues; 5 years of experience in working on Gap Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis for production issues; and 4 years of experience working with: Test Planning, Test Strategy, Requirement Traceability Analysis, and Test Coverage Analysis.
