Advanced Application Engineering Associate Manager - Albany, NY

Job Description:  Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Advanced Application Engineering Associate Manager in Albany, NY to work with client resources (technical and business) to build data maps for required data conversions. S/he will perform the following duties: adhere to established development standards and methodologies; change/version control, and produce detailed data mapping and conversion functional design document; facilitate conversion design discussions with end users, client technical resources and design team members; coordinate build of conversion technical objects (Application Engines, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Records and Pages, SQR Report, SQL Validation Rules); unit testing documentation using junior resources; coordinate mock conversions cycles for assigned work units; executing assigned conversion work units in proper sequence and time boxed manner; coordinating data review meetings with stake holders; support data conversion testing by business users; progressively refine the48 data quality and conversion cycle run time during successive iterations of mock conversion cycles; supporting Conversion Manager in administering Data Conversion Work Stream. 



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus 3 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following experience: 3 years of experience with data conversion SDLC in as least one of the following PeopleSoft Implementations: Human Resources Management, Payroll, or Benefit Administration; 3  years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM, Financials Suites, and PeopleSoft CRM suite; 3 years of experience utilizing People soft technical tools, including: People Code, Application Engine, SQRs, Application Designer, and Component Interface; and 3 years of experience in writing Oracle SQL and performance tuning for conversion routines.
