Test Engineering Manager – Seattle, WA

Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Manager in Seattle, WA to coordinate with business teams to gather requirements, analyze and propose tactical solutions to implement those requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: participate in planning sessions with solution design consultants; define scope and create design documents; drive quality testing solutions;  planning and constructing test scripts using quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or clients; develop end-to-end testing strategies; define and track test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance; execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases; coordinate and execute regression testing; test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing; determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts; define Test Plans and entry/exit criteria; develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures; lead other Testers on the testing team and manage testing process questions and/or issues; develop test models (plans, data, and scripts), including test data; optimize process and methods to deliver quality work; allocate test resources to application tests in a multi-test environment; determine methods and procedures on new assignments; make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management; and adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Test Lead/Architect, Software Engineer/Developer, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience working with ETL Processes, Data Mapping, Data Quality, and Data Integration; 3 years of experience working with Data Migration and Conversion for QA Validation; 5 years of experience working on System Integration Testing for US Healthcare Claim Processing Applications; 5 years of experience overseeing devops orchestration and executive reporting through the use of HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and JIRA; 5 years of experience managing Quality Assurance test planning, design, preparation, automation and execution throughout user acceptance and system/product test cycles; and 3 years of experience overseeing automation projects and providing solutions for requirements on test / process automation using the tool Selenium.
