The work:

The Strategic Planning Project Manager will be part of an Accenture team supporting a federal government customer. The Project manager will work closely with the client to provide strategic planning and project management support on Expeditionary Warfare and Special Operations topics. This high visibility role will include regular coordination with senior client leadership. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

- Developing strategic plans, policy documents, and briefings for leadership review

- Assisting with development of acquisition strategies

- Tracking actions items from initiation through completion

- Documenting strategic and policy requirements

- Conducting and documenting Market Research for articulated requirements

- Supporting the development of financial planning to capture project costs

- Participating in DoD and Inter-Agency efforts in support of client mission

- Developing tracking tools for mission deployments and training

 




Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

- US Citizenship, no dual citizens

- Experience working expeditionary or special operations future plans

- Knowledge and experience working with Planning Programming Budgeting      Execution (PPBE)

- Experience working internal control programs at the echelon 3 or 4 levels

- Demonstrated experience developing strategic operations and/or contingency plans

- Bachelor’s Degree

- Minimum 3 years PM experience

 



Bonus points:
 

 -Proven strong oral and written communication

- Demonstrated experience working with combined policy and administrative matter

- Proven ability to work independently

- Demonstrated knowledge of military special operations

 

 

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
