Application Development Associate Manager – Albany, NY

Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Associate Manager in Albany, NY to collaborate with departments, architects, and project/technical managers to provide estimates and develop and implement solutions. S/he will perform the following duties: adhere to established development standards and methodologies, change/version control, and produce detailed technical and unit testing documentation; coordinate with functional team counterparts to troubleshoot issues, debug, and provide resolution; provide timely status of assigned work and raise impediments or concerns in a timely fashion; perform code reviews and recommend improvements; perform architecture design for business model/data analyst for data projects and initiatives, creating conceptual and logical business models used to generate physical data models and database schemas; coordinate with business and IT teams to clarify and refine functional data requirements; effectively present or communicate data models to the business, IT and the project teams; create and maintain a metadata management capability to integrate data dictionaries with the enterprise business glossary; provide analytic consultation and support to business users; and support the creation of periodic and ad hoc reports.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any) or closely related degree, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in related IT positions, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience developing PeopleSoft Customization using People Code, PeopleSoft Query, SQRs, and Application Package and Approval Work Flow Engine within Peoplesoft HCM and Peoplesoft CRM; 5 years of experience supporting systems interfacing with, Oracle, mainframe stored procedures, and IBM FileNet; 5 years of experience performing requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and 2 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise data warehouses, statistical analysis models, and data visualizations using Attunity, Tableau, and R Software.
