Business Strategy Manager – New York, NY

Job Description:
Accenture LLP seeks Business Strategy Managers in New York, NY to perform analysis to gain insights, diagnose issues, and plan transformation within functional practice areas. S/he will perform the following duties: drive structured approach to identifying/solving functional business problems to find strategic insights; lead value analysis to generate functional insights and identify value creation opportunities within functional areas; lead creation of thought leadership assets that present information/guidance on market-relevant strategy topics within functional areas; shape and lead innovative programs that translate results from business diagnosis and planning into transformation solutions; identify account-level value creation opportunities based on assessments and an understanding of high-level vision, performance gaps, and needs; identify, assess and solve complex business problems; act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments; oversee teams and work efforts; support development of clients’ corporate strategies, structure effective business and operating models, and transform businesses in an effort to grow while maintaining/reducing costs; and instill business simplification strategies, reinvent broken business, and enter new markets for growth. This position requires domestic travel approximately 80% of an average work week.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, International Relations, Operations/Operations Research/Human Resources Operations, Organizational Psychology, or Organization Communications plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in Consulting. The position must include professional experience with: 5 years’ experience developing and implementing human capital strategies for clients’ workforces; 3 years’ experience performing value architecting and metrics analysis, including developing and maintaining project business cases using advanced analytics techniques, Power BI, and Tableau; 5 years’ experience designing, developing, and course-correcting organization positions, roles, skills, and reporting relationships, and analyzing spans of control; 2 years’ experience developing change management plan solutions, including change vision, program identity creation, stakeholder mapping, sponsorship planning, and change intervention implementation; and 1 year experience using OrgVue to increase organization effectiveness by defining future cultures, using predictive workforce analytics, performing strategic workforce planning, and reskilling for future roles.
