Agile Product Owner Management Analyst - Columbus, OH

Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Agile Product Owner Management Analyst in Columbus, OH to drive business value in a Product team. S/he will perform the following duties: take ownership and/or help client Product Owner take ownership of the product and ensure the correct product is built; help the team and stakeholders understand the focus on achieving outcomes to prioritize work as well as show the direction the product is headed towards; help the team focus only on validated customer problems and business-supported opportunities to increase the likelihood of product success in the market; focus on building the product one small feature at a time (Vertical Slicing as opposed to Horizontal), and translate that into small digestible chunks for the team to accomplish both quickly and well; balance tradeoffs between client constraints, quality of the product, and value of releasable product; maintain a “go-fast-forever” principle as opposed to burning out; keep the product team, stakeholders, sponsors, CLs all aligned to keep momentum flowing; and participating/hosting Event Storm meetings. 

Positions are based in Columbus, OH but require international travel up to 15% of an average work week.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Economics, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Technology Consultant, IT Analyst, Operation Coordinator or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 3 years of experience working with Lean XP methodologies in the finical services industry; 2 years of experience working with software product research and building finical systems; 3 years of experience working in Scaled Agile Frameworks while using of LeSS (Large Scale Scrum), SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Nexus, or SaS (Scrum at Scale); 5 years of experience in Banking and Insurance Domain utilizing systems that manage Core Banking, Mobile Banking, Deposits, Customer Account Originations , or Claims; and 5 years of experience in Software Engineering Practices utilizing Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), DevOps, Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD), and Pair Programming.
