Job Description:
The Associate Manager is responsible for analysis, design, and testing of components of SAP (ECC 6.0). The Associate Manager is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development/configuration work as a subject matter expert (SME) of SAP FI or SAP Public Sector modules. They also support those that interface with other business modules and applications. The Associate Manager has a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by Special Projects Teams. The Associate Manager is required to participate in pager/on-call support. The Associate Manager reports to the Special Projects Lead and will travel to the client site in Columbus, OH, one to two weeks a month if not locally staffed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Client, Accenture, and Teaming Partner team members and executives on and across the project team.
- Provides SME leadership support for the Finance team.
- Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in client methodologies.
- Provide and own SAP application support and leadership support in assigned areas.
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the SAP application.
- Mentor junior analysts.
- Work with Client, Accenture, Teaming Partner and external system team members and executives to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
- Develop system specifications for SAP and Salesforce components.
- Design SAP components to functional and technical programming standards.
- Provide primary support toward installation of application releases into production as directed.
- Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.
- Create operational documentation for the SAP and Salesforce application.
- Meet service commitments and schedules for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.
- Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.
- Coordinate work with other Specialists and Analysts across teams.
- Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems.
- Provide input to assist in determining level of work effort for assigned activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of experience with MS Office
  • 5 years of SAP Public Sector or SAP Finance or client-specific experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong Facilitation Skills
  • Salesforce basic knowledge
  • Microsoft Project experience

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
