The Procurement Associate Manager is responsible for purchasing goods and services for AFS business teams, both direct and indirect, as well as managing the cradle-to-grave procurement process, including RFI’s, RFQ’s, negotiations, PO creation, change orders, and closeouts.

Responsibilities include:
• Source new requirements for multiple AFS business teams
• Monitor and process assigned Costpoint Requisitions
• Monitor and process PO Change Requests
• Assist in resolving PO match exceptions, work with business teams to process match exceptions to keep invoice delays to a minimum
• Provide support to Costpoint and PO Change Request users
• Draft and process signature files for various agreements (NDAs, MSAs, Consulting Agreements, etc.)
• Review and negotiate agreement terms with potential suppliers
• Ensure compliance with AFS procurement policies
• Continuously learn and improve procurement skills. Work to educate internal customers on business systems and processes
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 4 years Procurement, Contract Management, or Subcontracts experience 
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint experience
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Procurement, Contract Management, or Subcontracts experience in a Federal Government contracting environment, especially a technology or management consulting space
  • CostPoint experience
  • Purchase acquisition experience with Hardware, Software, Cloud Services
  • Experience with conducting procurements with materials in a R&D environment
  • Experience/relationships with multiple, key vendors

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
