Microsoft BI Application Development Managers -  Chicago, IL

Job Description:
Accenture LLP is seeking Microsoft BI Application Development Managers in Chicago, IL to develop, design, support and maintain Microsoft BI software products/systems and/or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. S/he will perform the following duties: Analyze business users and leadership need for Business Intelligence dashboard (15%); plan development activities, assign task, track and monitor progress of development – in line with timings and milestones (25%); set and implement processes, coding standards, security processes, design models (5%); performance management – review team goals, provide feedback (5%); manage stakeholders – customer business and IT team, understand their expectations, review deliverables with them and secure sign-offs (8%); review technical architects, ensure BI design practices are followed and implemented (10%); partner with testing team to ensure application/components are fully functional and secure on web (7%); perform data management, database administration and implementing business analysis functions (15%); partner with customer business team for User Acceptance testing (5%); and perform data validation and cleansing (5%). Positions are based in Chicago, IL, but domestic travel to client sites will be required 75% of average work week.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in IT, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience managing large data warehouse/center projects; 3 years managing Project Financials, including budgeting; 3 years designing data centers, application databases; 3 years collecting and analyzing data for generation for business dashboards and Organization C suites; 3 years applying SQL Server and required packaged services.
