Corporate Functions – Marketing & Communications

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

 

The senior manager is responsible for the AFS Federal Marketplace program—defining the program and campaign strategies in collaboration with the business and our marketing ecosystem partners.  The role is responsible for developing the program marketing strategy and related strategic marketing initiatives (that incorporate events, forums, research, and content) to advance meaningful engagement with the Federal market. Collaborating across the AFS Marketing, Media, and Communications team to ensure integration with and alignment across all our marketing programs and a seamless client experience.

 

This individual understands the federal market; innovates continually to develop the-next-big-thing in issue-based, content-led, digitally-enabled programs marketing, is obsessed with how to make the most of marketing moments in digital, and knows the pulse of the social channel. The person in this role works collaboratively and leads a team to envision and execute breakthrough marketing programs that advance the Accenture brand differentiation in the federal market and cultivate high-value interactions and experiences that advance our business and market position.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, and/or marketing communications roles

  • Critical thinking/ business judgment
  • Integrated marketing strategy and planning
  • Project management skills
  • People management
  • Proven leadership skills—team building, supervision, mentoring and managing of diverse and virtual teams to drive integration
  • Strong and deep overall business acumen and good knowledge of Accenture’s area of business and overall business strategy
  • Able to engage, influence, and mobilize stakeholders at various levels of leadership within a large, matrixed organization through relationship building and strong executive-level presence
  • Ability to develop and apply creative and ingenious solutions to complex issues
  • Superior oral and written communications skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate seamlessly with other areas within Marketing & Communications and other areas within Accenture
