Job Description
The Data Integration Senior Analyst performs a variety of duties related to sourcing, analyzing, and presenting data. Job duties include extraction, normalization, and transformation of telemetry data for derivation of business and performance insights through dashboard visualizations. A successful Data Integration Analyst possesses strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for all things data.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership within area of responsibility and scope of services focused on outcomes to deliver high quality, dependable, cost effective solutions for our customers. Lead, make decisions, and take actions.
  • Responsible for the currency of the documentation and automation in area of responsibility.
  • Ability to influence direct supervisor, peers and subordinates in a productive way to achieve desired outcomes. Maintain visibility within area of responsibility.
  • Accountable for adherence to standards, controls, processes and procedures in Security, Service Control & Service Management, with operational discipline and successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross platform teams, client/customer and vendors to drive and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Responsible to identify automation opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives in area of responsibility (i.e. automation of SOPs, repeatable builds & upgrades).
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards and maintain consistent configurations as defined.
  • Provide support to client/customer and colleagues while complying with internal support processes and procedures in critical situations.
  • Effective communication with ability to adapt to audience.
  • Deliver effective and efficient services to programs & projects from start through Service Introduction.
  • Complete Incident and Service Requests and ensure accurate documentation within ITSM tool. Responsible to ensure response and resolution occurs within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA). 
  • Proactive Operational Readiness Responsible for technical / functional support, troubleshooting of multiple environments and knowledge of specific applications.
  • Expected to grow your skills and capabilities by becoming a SME within area of responsibility and scope of services and staying current on the new and emerging market offerings/technologies.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL query development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with ETL methodologies, database design, and data modeling
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with C# or similar object-oriented programming languages
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) 
  • It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live.  However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve clients, our employees must be able to travel when needed. This role requires 100% flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday through Thursday)
 
Preferred Skill Requirements
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and statistical mathematics skills
  • Experience with data visualization software such as Grafana, Kibana or similar
  • Experience with telemetry data from Application Performance Management solutions like Dynatrace, App Dynamics or similar
  • Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL or Log data repositories such as MongoDB or Splunk
