At Accenture Federal Digital Studio, content design is an integral part of our design process. The creative thinkers and systematic doers on our Content Design team apply iterative design thinking to content strategically, from service design to digital product creation. As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll define content strategy, establish content requirements, and lead content creation throughout engagements at the account level. As a Senior Content Designer, you:

  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers and engineers to serve a national content audience
  • Lead content design activities including client workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms
  • Work with the design team to ensure that design standards and examples meet requirements in content style guide
  • Manage content design teams and activities at the account level
  • Collaborate across teams, agencies, and partners to gain consensus around content specifications at the account level
  • Support client leadership in partnering with digital teams to create consistent content across all platforms
  • Work across contract web development teams to support all content changes
  • Develops paid and non-paid social media and content strategies, helping to maintain and grow client’s business through a variety of online and social channels
  • Ensures the team’s execution meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Leader/Coordinator for the client’s social media and content programs and works closely with all studio personnel in determining project scope, estimating, planning, executing and monitoring assigned projects and deliverables
  • Build relationships with Privacy, Plain Language, and Legal groups to support product manager in managing content updates/changes and ensuring timely submission and approval

  • Identify opportunities to meet the content needs of real people across ecosystems
  • Integrate content pattern libraries into visual design and content management systems
  • Build content repositories that deliver efficiency for clients and serendipity for users

Set yourself apart:

  • Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of the content landscape, including but not limited to content design, content creation, content strategy, content marketing, content management, and content operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners in any situation or context
  • Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget
  • History of tackling and solving complex interactive challenges

Qualifications

What You Have:

  • 5 years of experience developing and designing content strategies for consumer facing digital experiences

  • Will ideally have 2-3 years leading/managing content teams

  • Will ideally have a Bachelor’s in English, Journalism, Communications or Creative Writing from a leading University

  • Proven success developing content strategy for digital products 

  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to develop content strategy and to most importantly connect with consumers at the deepest levels

  • Understanding of content management systems and strategies

  • Strong communication skills to concisely communicate complex subject matter verbally and written

  • Ability to work both independently and contribute as part of a team
