Our team is seeking a Proposal Development professional with strong writing and organizational skills to work closely with sales and internal subject matter experts (SMEs) in responding to requests for information and large, multimillion proposals for procurement and supply chain business process services.  
 
You Are: 
As a Proposal Development professional, you will join a dynamic team focused on supporting Accenture’s industry-leading position for procurement and supply chain business process services (BPS). The role is based in our Berwyn, PA office and, from this location, you will engage with colleagues throughout the world. The ability to interact with other team members, sales and marketing professionals, senior management, and internal SMEs to collaborate and subsequently describe our capabilities and strategic vision in writing is critical.

You will work directly with management and SMEs and gain broad exposure to collaborative sales processes and multiple industries and business challenges and formulating strategic solution decisions and commercial strategies.

 
  • Assist with proposal responses, the creation and maintenance of other sales and marketing materials, and support for sales pursuits.
  • Create written sales and marketing materials and presentations, field internal requests, compile facts and stats, and coordinate activities with our European team.
  • Research and collaborate with internal subject matter experts and other information sources to build an understanding of our industry, capabilities, services, and client needs;
  • Translate this knowledge into compelling written content that projects key messaging while addressing explicit and implicit client questions;
  • Contribute, coordinate, and manage the creation of high-end, compliant proposals including final proof and formatting (as appropriate to each pursuit);
  • Assist in the maintenance of our digital knowledge repository of narratives, FAQs, metrics, case studies, and graphics which is used throughout the business; and
  • Support a broadening range of sales enablement activities, such as managing the client data compilation process, contributing to industry analyst reports, and coordinating client references.

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or Business
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience responding to RFXs, preparing proposals or similar marketing and sales materials
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word
Bonus Points:
  • Effective project coordination and team skills, including time-management, planning, organization, multi-tasking, problem identification and resolution, and the ability to solicit information and assistance from resources at all levels
  • Ability and passion for communicating clearly and persuasively
  • Excellent research, organizational, and content management skills
  • Superb grammar, vocabulary, and editing skills
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is a plus
  • Experience with Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Managed Services is a plus
