Application Development Senior Manager (Multiple Positions) 

Responsibilities: 
Application Development Senior Manager (Multiple Positions)  (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Develop, design, and maintain software products or systems to support client strategies. Analyze, design, build, and test new components or enhancements to existing modules. Develop system specifications and interfaces for complex components. Create operational documentation for applications. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Develop testing plans. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Provide solutions to complex business problems, which are then implemented by the team. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Manage large teams and/or work efforts. Conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work. Participate in setting strategic direction to establish near-term goals for area of responsibility. Interact with client and/or Accenture senior management, which involves negotiating or influencing significant project matters. Manage large teams (60 to 100 Accenture people) and/or work efforts. Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate) in the IT consulting industry.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

Of the required experience, 5 years of experience must be in each of the following:

Developing applications and systems using Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML, RESTful Web Services, Oracle, and SQL; 

Developing Microservices leveraging Docker and other cloud orchestration tools; 

Implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Veracode, Greenlight, and SonarQube;

Implementing automated testing frameworks and integrating automated testing into the development pipelines using Katalon Studio, Selenium, JUnit, and Java code coverage tools; 

Leading a team of designers, developers, and testers in handling end-to-end application delivery; and 

Creating project plans and estimates, handling project risks and issues, and providing project status to the client and internal stakeholders. 


Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in developing complex business process APIs using Camunda.


Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
