The Medical Policy Implementation Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
  • Serves as the departmental subject matter expert to providers and staff providing appropriate and timely responses to inquiries and concerns
  • Oversees the daily operations provider relations functions to insure contractual obligations are met
  • Contributes to the annual recruitment planning process and provider education plan
  • Responds to escalated inquiries within specified due dates
  • Performs liaison role between business operation departments and IT from project initiation to post implementation on responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling and delivery of all projects prioritized in alignment with the customer s expectations and business needs
  • Champions creative and innovative ways to engage providers
  • Adept at identifying root cause while streamlining and improving processes
  • Participates and contributes in the development of strategic long and or short range goals
  • Makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency effectiveness
  • Leads system conversion from current tool to CRM Reviews and approves external facing documents related to team statistics
  • Trains and mentors new employees
  • Conducts analysis, identifies trends
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • State of Texas Unrestricted RN or LVN License
  • Minimum 5 years of Healthcare Medicaid experience
  • Minimum 5 years of previous supervisory experience
 
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management experience
  • Bachelor s Degree in a Healthcare related field
  • Texas public healthcare program experience
  • Experience managing projects and working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop, analyze, interpret data, rationale for alternative solutions to problems and take appropriate action
  • Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Familiarity with healthcare claims, coding, and multiple types of healthcare provider
  • Ability to develop, analyze, interpret data, rationale for alternative solutions to problems and take appropriate action
