You are:
A Technology professional with a passion for learning who is looking to re-start or resume your career after a break of 18 months or more.


The work:
You will have an opportunity to learn the newest emerging technologies and delivery methods via classroom training and on-the-job shadow training on client assignments.  You will be part of a strong community of like-minded people who will help ease your transition back to work and share experiences, tips and advice.  After you complete the initial training, you will start working on a Technology project. 


Working with us in Accenture Technology, you will have the opportunity to unleash your skills and transform the world around you using the latest digital methodologies and design thinking; such as, Cloud, AI, Intelligent Automation, DevOps and Agile.  Through a career at Accenture you will have the opportunity to implement innovative solutions to help clients stay ahead of the technology curve.


Program Details:

  • This is a paid 16-week program beginning in early October of 2019 and culminating in late January of 2020
  • The program will not run on the following days:  11/25/19-11/29/19 and 12/23/19-1/3/20
  • Participants must reside within a 90-minute ground commute of the Chicago office (161 N. Clark)

Upon successful completion of the program, Accenture will evaluate an opportunity for full-time regular employment.  If hired, Accenture will make an effort to provide in-town work for the first year.  There is always the possibility your skills may be needed by clients who are not local, which would require weekly travel.  In addition, all new employees are required to live within a 90-minute ground commute of an Accenture office.

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

  • You’ve been out of the workforce for a minimum of 18 months and prior to that in a technology field
  • Minimum four years of hands-on technology implementation and/or configuration in a professional work environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Bonus points if:

  • You have previous consulting experience
  • You’ve been part of a project delivery team or managed technical and/or cross functional project teams
  • You’re great at working creatively in a problem-solving environment
