Corporate Functions – Marketing & Communications 

 

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

 

YOUR ROLEBrand / Advertising/Social Lead


We are Accenture’s advertising team, one global collective of advertising experts located around the world.  We partner across the Marketing & Communications organization to be integrated and transparent, and embrace a culture of smart, strategic work.  The Accenture advertising team is part of the Brand team, tasked with producing great creative work – from the idea to the execution – and implementing paid media campaigns globally.  We are a smart, creative, collaborative team, that has fun and enjoy working together in a truly human way.   

You are passionate about advertising and know how to identify and champion great creative work.  An innovator who understands that our People, Clients and Recruits are key audiences, who are integral to our success. A true collaborator with a go-getter attitude, you are able to wrangle people and align local/regional leadership, business stakeholders, agency partners and other advertising and brand colleagues to work toward a single brand strategy. You are skilled in the art of delivering creative feedback to agency teams. You’ve led teams, directly and indirectly, and know how to keep everyone working with a shared purpose.  Your creativity and curiosity are complimented by a desire to create advertising campaigns that stay true to the messaging brief.

The role focuses on building and creating best in class advertising campaigns that revere innovation and creativity.  Partner with agencies and paid media teams to deliver messages to our key audiences in the most appropriate channels, meeting the objectives of the brief.  Operate as part of a seamless, global collective of advertising experts – with local expertise, helping to provide insights that are unique to the North America and Canadian market.   Assist the global creative team on global campaigns as needed.


The work is rarely the same day to day, and centers on the need to:

  • Drive creative excellence and superior execution.
  • Spearhead the design and delivery of Global Advertising campaigns to create seamless end-to-end experiences, awareness, preference and loyalty with our key audiences in North America.
  • Ensure brand values are properly reflected at all touchpoints (e.g., throughout campaigns, digital and print collateral and events).
  • Facilitate and champion seamless integration across the entire Brand team.
  • Be a collaborator, within the transformed M&C organization, to champion, educate, and review all advertising creative to ensure strategic alignment to global strategy, while also flexible in each geography for local relevance.
  • Direct partner agencies on the creation and implementation of best in class creative work.

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate Degree
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Brand, Advertising or similar field

SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills

  • Agency management experience
  • Knowledge of, and passion for Advertising with the ability to execute and implement multi-faceted campaigns
  • Project management experience—that includes managing people

Professional Skills:

  • Strong business acumen, ideally within a professional services organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with and direct external suppliers, third party vendors, agencies, and relevant external networks
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
