People in the Sales career track developthe opportunity pipeline and drive new sales by supporting, managing or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, laterally, upward, or in their current role.
 
Our Intelligent Cloud and Infrastructure (ICI) practice is an important and growing part of Accenture’s business. This role supports a number of sales-related activities and initiatives in our ICI organization.
 
Job Description
 
ICI Sales Enablement professionals cover a range of sales activity including the generation and development of client relationships leading to thoroughly qualified opportunities, development and modification of sales collateral, and definition and management of targeted campaigns.  These professionals may also participate on specific opportunity pursuits. Knowledge of the Cloud industry and Cloud-based IT practices is important for success in this role.  Knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and management reporting is also a key skill.
A professional at this position level within Accenture may have the following responsibilities:
  • Able to organize and track sales team activities
  • Facilitate strategy discussions and formulate strategic and action plans
  • Create and process Salesforce-based reports and analytics
  • Participate in origination and qualification discussions with clients for Cloud-related opportunities.
  • Participate in all other sales activities as appropriate
  • Develop a deep understanding of Accenture’s Cloud strategy with the ability to relate and apply this to client business challenges

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years in Consulting or Consulting Sales Capacity
  • Knowledge of the SalesForce platform
 
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Ability to operated effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Familiarity with the IT Cloud industry, especially Public Cloud providers
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and management skills
