Strategy and Experience professionals create and analyze to help clients maximize the reach and relevance of each brand interaction across media, website and physical touch-points that are increasingly addressable (store kiosks, etc.).
 
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. 
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. 
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
 
Responsibilities of the Public Service Management Consulting Consultant may include:
  • Identify, assess and solve moderately complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Use considerable judgment to determine solution and seek guidance on complex problems.
  • Interact with client and/or Accenture team members on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Understand that decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.
  • Ability to travel 100%
Work Location and Travel:
·  This position is primarily intended to serve Public Service clients across the State of Georgia.
·   Successful candidates will be required to live within 90 miles of one of Accenture’s offices in            Atlanta.
·   Any costs for relocation to one of those locations, if necessary, will be the responsibility of the          successful candidate.
·   Frequent travel within the State of Georgia, or otherwise, may be required, depending on actual      client location or other business needs.  There may also be a need to travel outside Georgia.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly for, or consulting to, Public Service organizations, i.e., government, nonprofits, or education.
  • A minimum of 2 year of demonstrated experience in performing such tasks as strategic planning and development, operational improvement analysis and transformation, organizational analysis and change management, data analytics, customer constituent experience enhancement, digital transformation.
  • A Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Skills:

  • A demonstrated passion for citizen-centric public service transformation.
  • Applicable certifications.

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
