Senior SEO Manager - This role is based in NY Metro area

 

We are looking for a unique individual to join our team as a full-time Search engine Optimization Manager. The Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for increasing traffic, engagement and conversions across our web properties through organic search marketing efforts and optimizations. The ideal candidate will recommend, implement and manage organic search efforts by applying SEO best practices, test & learn ideas, and latest innovations. This will encompass the creation, implementation and management of efforts locally and globally such as technical and content audits, content creation, meta tag implementation, ad schema markup.

 

This role will work cross functionally with media, account management, content teams, other agencies and is client facing. The right candidate will have the knack for explaining organic search principles and recommendations to all audiences, from developers to SEO novices. This position requires skills in technical SEO, reporting and analyzing trends & insights.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead clients in respect to planning and delivering effective SEO strategies and tactics for their sites and other content channels
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing of SEO industry trends, insights and evolution of Google's search products to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct site audits, keyword research, content optimization and landscape analysis regularly

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years’ tactical experience in Search Engine Optimization to include:
  • Strong Knowledge of Technical SEO On-Page Optimization tactics (Metadata, Headings, Content, Anchor Links, Navigation, etc.),
  • Experience working in HTML, CSS, JS and various types of code
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Legal or Life Sciences clients
  • Understanding of Conducter, Brightedge, Search Metrics, Botify or any enterprise level SEO platform
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Aptitude to think strategically and act tactically
