Job Description:

The Loan Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for Home Loan clients, responsible for handling communication involving negotiation of loan terms and pricing. The Loan Coordinator must adhere to all of the national government and state regulatory laws as defined by each State and the NMLS. This role may include some or all of the following responsibilities:

 

• Interact frequently with clients relative to a Home Equity Loan application process.

• Manage high incoming call volume while balancing a pipeline of outbound telephone calls to successfully achieve individual production metrics as well as contribute to the success of all delivery center goals.

• Display confidence in process knowledge and adherence to product and policy guidelines.

• Maintain a high level of customer service with a willingness to be proactive in communication with clients, in addition to internal and external employees.

• Leverage research, critical thinking and collaboration to deliver high quality options and solutions to clients.

• Recalculate and analyze loan application detail, convey restructured deals and effectively negotiate and communicate loan terms to improve customer delight.

• Ensure that customer expectations are set properly and followed through until loan booking.

• Maintain compliance and adhere to quality standards aligned to reduce operational and credit risk. Protect the privacy of clients while using multiple data sources internet, client documentation, vendor documentation and internal external systems.

• Keep informed of changes relating to loan process and policy.

• Handle escalated client situations and clearly communicate to leadership any issue concern that may require 2nd level escalation to ensure prompt research and resolution.

• Build partnerships across the organization to ensure efficiency and achieve exceptional service delivery results.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• One (1) year professional work experience to include customer service or sales

• High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mortgage and/or and financial services
