Our Senior Systems Engineer will develop complex, embedded systems that require knowledge of schematic design, product design, architectural models and prototype testing. This candidate will:
  • Be able to think outside of the box to implement innovative and effective solutions and adapt quickly to obstacles and changing demands. 
  • Have experience evaluating systems and making recommendations for improvements and solutions while considering the impacts of other systems on the network. 
  • Have the ability to lead conversations with customers and understand their needs, communicate the requirements and timeline for their system plan. 
  • Have the ability to manage a team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently in standard and cloud-based environment, using multiple and blended SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a technical architect and designing solutions environments.
  • Technical experience supporting Microsoft stack technologies in standard and cloud-based environments.
  • Experience managing multiple and blended SDLC methodologies.
  • Possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong team building, prioritization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills needed to build and lead a team to achieving outcomes.
  • Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) certification and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess ASP.NET, Telerik Controls and SQL Server expertise.
  • Experience relevant to the intelligence community (IC) and transformational leadership.
  • Possess familiarity with security requirements to deploy solutions in support of the Intelligence Community (IC).
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
