The Functional Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts in support of a ServiceNow delivery.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies and to design and improve business processes while identifying and defining detailed product requirements and use cases to ensure efficiency and quality throughout the operation, as well as compliance to the customer's standards
  • Leading a team in problem solving, continuous improvement, and demonstrate strong dedication to quality and communication
  • Serving as a liaison to the business community and participating in user and task analysis to maintain the customer's perspective while maintaining client relationships at peer level
  • Leading the team in cost reduction, knowledge capital and work product/service improvement activities, as well as assisting in identifying issues and providing status of scope of work while understanding role and responsibilities of self and team and how they contribute to business objectives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field OR at least 4 years of recent Business Analysis/process and/or software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis for system design, system architecture, business technical architecture, business system requirements definition, or similar
  • 1 year of team lead experience
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, agile)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Familiarity with Communication Plans and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills to assess process gaps and recommend best practice solutions
  • At least one year experience in software development
  • At least 6 months experience working with ServiceNow
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
