Accenture Federal Services is currently seeking a Privacy Specialist. 
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide the client with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and privacy support to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act and other Federal Privacy policies
  • Review and evaluate the client's privacy documentation to include the Privacy Screening Form and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for all systems
  • Maintaining a PIA tracking system and identifying privacy vulnerabilities and areas of noncompliance
  • Provide recommendations to meet compliance and efficiency standards, and support growth of junior resources

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 7 years experience in Information Privacy
  • In depth knowledge of Privacy Act of 1974, E-Government Act of 2002, Special Publications, guidance related to information privacy, Circular A-130, and other significant federal privacy regulations, guidance and policies
  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework, including working knowledge of family of privacy controls
  • Thorough knowledge of federal laws and directives pertaining to information privacy and security
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant training in information privacy and/or information security
  • Relevant information privacy certification - CIPP, CIPP-G, CIPP-US, CIPT, or CIPM

 

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
