Job Description:

This Manager will manage strategy development and business planning for Accenture Analytics. They will be responsible for identifying potential acquisitions/new business creation opportunities. This individual will connect Accenture's overall strategic intent with the Accenture Analytics & Digital strategy.  By combining Accenture strategy with deep knowledge of Analytics/Digital strategy and market reality, this leader will drive a successfully executed strategy in the marketplace. Finally, the Growth & Strategy leader will be the orchestrator of change programs driven from the strategy and a key influencer to ensure that the organization's functions are aligned to it.

Develop and Execute Strategy

  • Work with Digital & Accenture Applied Intelligence leadership to develop geographic growth strategies, goals and actionable implementation plans consistent with Accenture strategy and market positioning
  • Drive the Accenture strategy into the Applied Intelligence business; ensuring that it complements the overall Accenture strategy
  • Develop an Analytics business strategy and manage the multi-year strategic planning effort. Ensure corporate & digital priorities are properly reflected in Analytics strategies and tactical plans
  • Identify and qualify industry and analytics specific strategic opportunities, including asset creation and utilization
  • Ensure that the budget planning and allocation reflects the strategy and priorities
  • Support global programs related to growth and strategy

Drive Market Awareness and Industry Knowledge

  • Drive Accenture Applied Intelligence brand internally and externally to maintain / gain market awareness
  • Monitor key industry issues & trends
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of Accenture's strategy status, and multi-year views
  • Act as the trends spokesperson in investor and analyst relations

Grow the Business

  • Realize value creation for Accenture Applied Intelligence through investments and new businesses
  • Drive venture capital relations and form new emerging alliances to seed high-growth segments
  • Collaborate with teams including corporate development, the global and regional growth & strategy, and appropriate geographic and industry leadership to identify appropriate investment opportunities
  • Assess the viability of potential investments, with a focus on the integration and positioning with existing industry strategies and capabilities
  • Provide on-going sponsorship and operational support to ensure the successful integration of any acquisitions and the realization of accretive value

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics strategy, deep knowledge in 1-2 industries and 1 function, combination of execution or close collaboration across data science, emerging tech and digital/product management, technical strategy.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
