Learning Event Advisor

Program Specialist Services professionals provide project-based support services within centers. These professionals support the delivery and execution of our key projects with specialized services.
 
The Program & Project Management Specialist improves organization performance and achieve program goals by developing and executing end-to-end project management activities. They demonstrate creativity and flexibility when creating and driving project plans and estimates, scope and requirements from implementation to deployment. Proactively manage and report on execution of deliverables. Master communicators across multiple stakeholders aligning priorities and direction.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides learning event design considerations e.g., room layout, catering, décor to enhance event experience and learning objectives.
  • Consults with learning event program owners to identify operational requirements and provides guidance on how to engage with learning service processes.
  • Creates workback plans outlining key milestones, activities, and deliverables necessary to prepare for a learning event launch.
  • Creates end to end learning event plans and production scripts and oversees handoff to event teams to ensure sessions are executed as requested, with consistency and quality.
  • Identifies 3rd party operational support requirements e.g., facilities, catering, technology, facilitation and identifies scalable approach for meeting the requirements.
  • Travels on an as needed basis to oversee global pilot launches for high priority learning events up to 25, with some anticipated overtime while traveling.
  • Identifies key success indicators for priority learning event execution and contributes to the continuous improvement process.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as learning coordinator or corporate event planner
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a client facing role within a corporate environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with executive level audiences
  • Relevant certifications CMP, CMM, SMMC
 
Professional Skills:
  • Executive presence, attention to detail, proactiveness, resourcefulness, and strong communication skills are crucial
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
  • Able to manage cross functional team relationships and serve as a single point of contact to handle questions and concerns
  • Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritize conflicting requirements
  • Passion for customer service
  • Positive attitude and ability to engage with various stakeholders
  • Critical thinking problem solving skills
  • Conflict resolution, facilitation, negotiation
  • Good time management skills
