Security professionals apply deep security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients.
The Security Manager applies deep security skills to provide the following Security Services: design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients. In addition, the role might require providing services to help clients protect their information, infrastructures, applications and business processes against cyber threats.
Security and Risk professionals develop and deliver solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications and data by establishing policies, practices and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or disruption.
Infrastructure Security professionals develop and deliver infrastructure security solutions -- including policies, procedures, tools and technologies -- to ensure that data stored in or transmitted via enterprise networks cannot be read or compromised by individuals with authorization, while still allowing authorized users to complete legitimate tasks.
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
The Technology Security Manager is responsible for leading the Security Operations program for the Software Utility Services business unit of Accenture. The lead will perform a number of activities and tasks around developing, maintaining, updating, and reporting on security controls used within the Information Technology infrastructure of Accenture SUS. Focus may range from monitoring and incident management to technical architecture development, to developing and maintaining policies and standards. The manager will apply deep security skills to provide the following security services design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture SUS and our clients. In addition the role will provide services to help clients protect their information, infrastructures, applications and business processes against cyber threats.
