Job Description:

Accenture LLP seeks an Application Support Associate Manager in Irving, TX to provide thought leadership with business partners and information technology teams to design, build and execute to the strategic and tactical goals for the designated functional areas in a portfolio. S/he will perform the following duties: serve as an escalation point for incidents, problems, and service requests for designated areas in a portfolio; coordinate and establish solution area, project schedules and release plans with business partners and third party service providers; provide input for the annual project area roadmap, schedule and related effort and forecasts; participate in the interviewing and selection process of newly hired associates; provide mentoring, coaching and development for associates; implement the application lifecycle roadmap; run technology upgrades, patches, or break fix, ensuring quality before implementation to production; leverage and support best practices and process frameworks, such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), to drive continual process improvement; ensure adherence to industry quality standards; provide quality and testing support for all projects involving assigned applications; accountable for the delivery of new projects on time, within budget and with high quality within the designated areas of a portfolio; develop and recommend solution options to improve and/or meet business needs; determine, monitor and review project schedules and resource requirements and availability; and ensure all provided technology services and solutions meet business needs for reliability, performance and security.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in IT, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in technical design and code utilizing Oracle/PL/SQL applications; 2 years utilizing UNIX and AIX operating systems; 5 years providing configuration and production support of JDA/RedPrairie WMS (Warehouse Management System), Manhattan WMS, and Manhattan OMS (Order Management System); 5 years working on label and report designs for warehouse management and operations; 5 years of experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), specifically with Incident/Problem/Service Request/Change Control Management; and 5 years of experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), specifically leading requirements gathering and design sessions with end users, translating requirements into design and build according to user specification, as well as conducting system/integration testing and user acceptance testing.
