The Quality Assurance Tester collaborates with Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Product Development to plan and execute quality assurance activities throughout the software development life cycle. The individual is primarily responsible for driving the quality of the application while ensuring the application conforms to both functional and non functional requirements. Applies proven analytical and problem solving skills to help validate processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years experience performing software testing or releated functions within a structured software development cycle 
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated understanding of the concepts of unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing 
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Team Foundation Server or equivalent software for task defect management 
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience preparing test cases and test plans 
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (12 years) or an Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience.  Exceptions will be considered. 

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements  
- Mortgage industry knowledge 
- Testing experience for large scale, multi version enterprise software product
- Experience working in scrum methodology 
- Experience with Microsoft Test Manager or equivalent software 
- Understanding of SQL databases and queries
