A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.

Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.

Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

 

YOUR ROLE:

As a Manager in CI&G, your responsibilities could include:

 

  • Leading customer experience-led business transformation for a client’s enterprise, impacting multiple functions
  • Advising clients on key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key client decision makers and supporting business development efforts
  • Engaging with clients to design the future operating model and/or technology roadmap for their marketing and sales functions
  • Leading Design Thinking sessions as an approach to solving client and industry challenges
  • Managing delivery of project team’s workplans, status reports, and all deliverables
  • Working on projects such as Customer Experience Optimization, Digital Marketing Strategy &  Campaigns, Personalization, Contextualized Interactions, Trade Promotion, Commerce, Digital Content, and other initiatives that impact how companies market, sell and provide customer services

Trade Promotion within CI&G

Trade Promotion Management professionals develop and delivery business solutions for Consumer Goods companies in commercial services or route to markets. You help clients to improve the effectiveness of how their Sales and Marketing organizations manage trade programs including spend optimization, organization, and solutions.

  • Self-motivated, independent individuals who have a desire to be client-facing and develop a career that involves being at the forefront in communicating to C-suite individuals
  • Strong interpersonal, team building, and organizational skills with senior levels of an organization

  • Desire and ambition for new challenges and growth opportunities
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Consulting or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of CPG commercial processes (trade promotions, sales agreement, sales force automation, incentives management, retail execution), drivers, and best practices  and experience leading functional workshops
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing teams/work streams
  • Bachelors' Degree required 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Application of Design Thinking as an approach to solving client problems
  • Multiple delivery methodologies & operating models that support Sales & Customer service transformation
  • Defining Trade-related issues and lead the ideation process for solutions

 

  • Customer Goods and Services industry experience (sales, product development, marketing, pricing, customer experience, Trade Promotion etc...)
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information
  • Experience working through organizational change, with a demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity, and innovation
  • Conduct process/capability assessments based on leading industry practices
  • Passion for People: our clients' Sales leadership and team members, as well as the members of our Trade Promotion practice
