Transformation Management is responsible for shaping, mobilizing and managing the transformation journey from inception through execution, to deliver sustainable value.  This practice provides end-to-end definition, implementation and management services for the NEW IT transformation across all streams. These practitioners balance skill sets across scaled transformation, controlled agility, and innovating in the new while nurturing the core of their clients. These consultants help clients solve questions such as:

  • How do I create an operational vision for the set transformation goals that address the total business?
  • How do I shape a living journey, enabling the New while optimizing for value in the core?
  • How do I deliver with transparency & agility at scale, but with control?

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Expected to lead delivery for Transformation programs
  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Sets strategic direction to establish near-term goals for teams
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
  • Has latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Decisions have a lasting impact with area of responsibility and other’s
  • Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in program and project management
  • Minimum 7 years in technology project delivery and execution, out of which 3+ years working in Agile methodologies
  • Minimum 7 years of functional and Business Process design
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in New IT skills such as:  mobility, virtualization, automation, cloud, artificial intelligence, digital or big data
  • Minimum 2 years in design thinking methods, facilitation, and tools that engage global stakeholders
  • Minimum 3 years in agile project mobilization and agile change management
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior consulting experience preferred
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Played the role of a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
  • Strong aptitude to learn and work in emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the Resources industry verticals - oil, gas, solar, energy, utilities, mining, chemicals, natural resources
  • Team lead experience
  • Multi-site delivery experience
  • Business & value case creation or management
  • Governance, operation, or engagement model definition
  • Certifications demonstrating methodology expertise such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or similar
Professional Skills Requirements:
    • Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
    • Passion for technology trends e.g. Cloud, Big Data Analytics, IoT, Artificial Intelligence
    • Experience eliciting user centered business requirements using design thinking methods
    • Experience working through organizational change, with a demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity and innovation, including evidence of solution design
    • Awareness of key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry
    • Ability to travel as necessary
    • Well developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large amounts of information
