The Leadership Recruiter is accountable for full-lifecycle recruiting of leadership level talent, including pipeline generation, search execution, internal client management, and administration of the recruiting process, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the company’s diversity recruiting objectives.  This role defines standards and reusable approaches within own area of responsibility and is required to maintain effective internal/external client/user relationships within own area of responsibility. This role provides guidance to and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members.  The recruiter completes varied complex/non-standard tasks in area of responsibility and operates largely independently within set guidelines, but managerial guidance is available, if sought.  This role also exercises consistent judgment and discretion with work directly related to management policies and the general operations of the business.

Responsibilities will include design, build & start-up activities, hiring and managing resources, implementing and improving standard processes and tools to drive operational efficiencies, and meeting operational and financial commitments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of leadership recruiting experience (VP, Director, Senior Manager level) and 4 years overall recruiting experience
  • Understanding of the government contracting industry and federal government
  • Professional services recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Must be local to Metro DC area

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management  skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to determine priorities or seek guidance on priorities and set clear expectations
  • Strong applicant tracking and systems and reporting skills
  • Ability to map talent landscape and develop organizational charts of target company leadership teams
  • Ability to recruit across multiple functional areas
  • Ideally, a mix of executive search firm and corporate recruiting experience


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
