Job Description
Our project management team is essential in delivering quality projects on time and on budget while keeping our teams together.  As a program director (or associate manager), you’ll work with talented strategy, creative, and technical teams to manage projects from kickoff to completion, overseeing the schedule, managing to a budget and mitigating risks along the way.   If you're an independent thinker, passionate about creating outstanding work and making meaningful connections, we want to speak with you.
 
YOUR ROLE: Program Director (or Program and Project Management Associate Manager)
 
While there will never be a typical day at Accenture Interactive, we’ve highlighted a few of your exciting responsibilities:
  • Actively partners with clients and client engagement teams to identify new opportunities which address critical business needs.
  • Manage the program/project from scoping and requirements through deployment for an end-to-end project or specific area of a project
  • Manage critical path, dependencies, contingency and overall budget performance
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan, which includes regular status touchpoints with internal team members and milestone meetings with the client.
  • Proactively identify risks associated with the project timeline, resources and/or budget, and develop a plan to mitigate those concerns.
  • Manage all change requests, validate the budget/schedule impacts, obtain stakeholders’ commitments, and communicate approved changes to all team members.
  • Ensures all project and program management activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Adherence to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments with some latitude in decision making.
  • Manage the relationships and direct work between internal project teams, subcontractors and/or suppliers.
  • Demonstrate ownership of the work quality and final deliverable(s) to the client.
YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of digital program management or delivery management experience with roles of increasing responsibility
  • 5+ years of experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, preferably in an agency setting
  • 5+ years of leading a team in successful delivery of design and development projects in an Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Program Management or related field
 
 
SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills
  • 10+ years of digital program management or delivery management experience with roles of increasing responsibility
  • A high level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
•     Experience in growing and mentoring a dynamic team
•     A strategic perspective on the variety of work that we do     
•     Ability to cost estimate a large range of project types, and to track and meet budgets
•     Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management of client organizations
•     Demonstrated experience managing creative and interactive initiatives
•     Proven project management skills with the ability to multitask
•     Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with and manage a wide variety of professional staff
•     Demonstrable skills and experience in mediation, negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution
•     Professional, flexible, and able to succeed in a rapidly changing environment
  • Expert level in Client Relationship Management. Advanced level in Cost Accounting, Operations Management, Quality Management, Service Change Management
