Accenture is recruiting nationwide and hiring Informatics Analysts to join us at the Center of Excellence in Orlando, Florida. Relocation to Orlando, FL required, and relocation assistance will be offered. 

 

Accenture Scientific Informatics Services (ASIS) combines the power of LabAnswer’s scientific and laboratory informatics expertise with Accenture’s strategic and business consulting capabilities, industry platforms, innovation approach and global scale to help transform how scientific and laboratory processes are conducted across a variety of industries - helping make them faster, more efficient and more effective than ever before.

 

Leveraging digital technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, analytics and cloud, in combination with a fundamental redesign of the scientific user experience, ASIS helps organizations better capture, manage, integrate and analyze complex scientific data. This can improve the discovery and manufacturing of new products, improve quality, ensure compliance, reduce time to market and improve operational efficiency.

 

Our Scientific Consulting Development Program is developing the next generation of leaders in scientific informatics consulting. Informatics Analysts hired will begin the program with an intensive training portion. During your first year of employment, the focus will be on gaining skills across all functional areas of expertise required to become an Accenture Scientific Informatics Services Consultant. Going forward, you will continue to grow your career and increase your skills and experience in a variety of areas. Some of these project areas include:

  • Validation and Testing
  • Business Analysis
  • Master Data 
  • Enterprise Application Support 
  • Configuration and Development 
  • Project Management

Basic Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) PLUS experience or training in one of the following programming languages: C, C++ C#, PHP, Perl, VB.NET, Objective C, Python, Java

 

OR

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science PLUS strong scientific experience in academic or professional setting (e.g. Minor in Laboratory Science, Laboratory Research, Laboratory Internship or Professional Role).

 

OR

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within Laboratory Sciences (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering) PLUS experience or training in one of the following programming languages: C, C++ C#, PHP, Perl, VB.NET, Objective C, Python, Java



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in relevant field
  • Ability to interact on a professional level and collaborate with internal and external teams 
  • Able to apply analytical and proactive thinking 
  • Highly organized, with solid prioritization skills and ability to work under pressure 
  • Shows desire and commitment to achieve results 
  • Possess drive for self-development, personal growth and continuous improvement
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent listening and interpersonal skills 
  • Customer focused attitude
