Job Overview
Infrastructure Tech Architects professionals demonstrate skills and specific experience in selecting, sizing, configuring and testing hardware infrastructure components, covering one or more of the Server, Storage and Network domains, and in estimating the required implementation effort and costs.
 
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems;

Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals;

Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems;

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor;

May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture;

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.


Job Description

The Infrastructure Tech Architect will design network security solutions to meet complex business requirements. Know, understand, and follow network management procedures and global security network policies. Complete the configuration and deployment of network devices. Complete the identification, prioritization, resolution/fulfillment of network incidents. Create and maintain architecture standards and configuration guides.
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Good working technical knowledge of networking and network security controls;
  • Ability to coach less experienced staff in the supported products and best practice for production support;
  • Should have conceptual Knowledge in Authentication, Authorization, encryption mechanisms (LDAP, RADIUS, RBAC etc.);
  • Flexible to work in 24 x 7 environment;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to develop technical documentation, technical communications and project work plans;
  • Ability to facilitate knowledge transfer within team and outside customer groups;
  • Team player who also works well independently and is self-motivated;
  • Understand and work with a culturally diverse team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in Network Implementation;
  • 2 years of experience in Unified Communications;
  • The ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications.
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment;
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment  Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
