The SAP Portal Technical Analyst will be required to provide technical expertise in support of SAP Enterprise Portal, its relevant system components and integrations to both SAP and non-SAP applications.


Candidate will develop a thorough understanding of various SAP applications and the technical architecture by learning to install and configure SAP Portal to upgrade and/or apply fixes through configuration modifications.


This role expects candidate to manage his/her own learning curve by aggressively utilizing other team members' experiences and learning materials to come up to speed and deliver an optimal solution that supports the client's business process and meets or exceeds functional requirements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Support technical implementation of the software product delivery whether traditional or Agile methodology
- Resolve technical issues encountered
- Build/Install/Configure SAP Enterprise Portal and SAP Web Dispatchers including component Upgrades
- Develop detailed technical documentations
- Execute Performance/Stress Test (PST) Cycles
- Provide technical integrations with other SAP and non-SAP applications
- Administer Enterprise-grade DevOps ecosystem in order to accelerate client delivery

The primary work site will be in SADC with expectation of support from Monday through Friday each week including weekend as necessary (remote work on Fridays). 

Very strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred as team members work in different locations and candidate will be working with resources from the client team, AFS, and other sub-contracting companies to complete their duties. 

The ability to independently manage workload is crucial to succeed in this role. A level of strong technical aptitude is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Technical Bachelor’s Degree or relevant IT Certification or completion of Transitioning Military SAP training program or 2 years of relevant work experience and no degree 
  • 3+ months of relevant SAP experience in a classroom or working environment 
  • US Citizenship – no dual citizenship 
Preferred skills and qualifications:
  • 1-2 years SAP Portal Architecture experience 
  • 1-2 years SAP NetWeaver experience/skills 
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
