The Solution Architect plays a critical clientfacing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a viable, scalable solution that that helps our customers solve problems. Coordinates efforts across sales and services teams to provide solution, estimates and associated materials to assist in winning professional services business.ResponsibilitiesWorks with sales, sales engineers, services managers, and executive management to identify client needs and to architect appropriate G Suite services solutions.Identifies business requirements evaluates concepts such as market timing, compelling event and problem identification to ensure that delivered solutions meet both shortand longterm company and client business performance expectations.Ability to understand the additional applicationscomponents that would be neededrequired for enterprise size customers and how they would fit overall solution design.Drives solution development through requirements gatheringanalysisdiscovery, business plan creation, and solution level of effort estimation to ensure that client interests are met and potential business opportunities are established.Drives preparation and delivery of client presentations, proposals and SOWs that clearly articulate the solution relative to client needs.Assists and supports client activities as a SME on projects to eliminate gaps or inconsistencies in the initial solution, architectural design, deliverables, benefits and messaging.Works with business development group to research market trends, stay current in relevant solutions and to shape Google and thirdparty product offerings.
Bachelors degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field preferred
5 or more years of business solutions experience in a professional services environment
Experience working with software products and services, business processes
Experience working with appropriate messaging products, productline hardware and software
10 years of solution architecture experience in a large enterprise setting
5 years of technology consulting experience to large enterprise customers
Direct technical experience with the relevant G Suite, Microsoft, Groupwise, Lotus Notes environments
Willingness to travel between 25-50 as needed.
