The San Antonio Innovation & Technology Delivery Center (SADC) is part of the Accenture's US Delivery Center organization, which is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions.

The SAP Development Associate supports SAP modules by implementing, solving break/fix issues, or by providing design, development, and support knowledge of RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows). Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing simple technical solutions from a functional design specification
  • Developing basic detailed technical design documents, ensuring all functional requirements are met in the technical design
  • Having a solid understanding of the functionality and test data that will be required to Build/Unit Test/Assembly Test/System Test the customization
  • Constructing code based on a technical design, following all development standards
  • Unit testing all functional and technical requirements and document into Unit Test Plan
  • Completing Build and Unit Test by deadlines assigned
  • Performing functional walkthrough(s) with development lead and functional owner to ensure completeness
  • Following migration standards set by technical architecture team, including any required installation documentation
  • Ensuring that all code is well documented and can be navigated by others
  • Providing, analyzing, designing, coding and implementing changes to resolve break/fix issues to resolve and close tickets during testing cycle of project.  Provide appropriate communication related to these issues as outlined by process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Degree or 2 Year Technical Associate's Degree or 4 Years of Active Military Experience or 1 Year of Related Work Experience
  • US Citizen – no dual citizenship

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-year STEM Degree or course work with SAP course during collegiate career or have knowledge of SAP through self study.
  • Any type of IT certification
  • Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value
  • Ability to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skill

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
