Job Description:

Working as part of the global Accenture Technology Marketing & Communications team, this position will be responsible for supporting our marketing & communications programs across Accenture Technology in North America.  This role will support the new M&C lead as they work together to collaborate with the global Accenture Technology M&C team, North America business lead and leadership team to boldly position Accenture across North America with the extended reach and power of our geographic unit (GU) marketing and business leads.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the overall Accenture Technology marketing & communications strategy for North America.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with geographic and industry marketing teams on roll out of key global Technology campaigns such as Technology Vision and other corporate marketing priorities.
  • Ensure strong integration of digital marketing elements across all M&C programs to drive share of voice in North America and to position our senior business leaders.
  • Rally with colleagues across our team, key businesses, GU and Operating Group to ensure cross pollination of ideas and sharing of best practices.
  • Support regular touch bases for Accenture’s wider geographic and industry-led marketing community in North America to share details on Accenture Technology global and cross-industry campaigns and to understand local priorities.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of Accenture Technology strategic marketing messages across various marketing channels and programs.
  • Champion Accenture Technology North America’s participation in signature corporate citizenship and inclusion programs such as the annual Grace Hopper conference and Hour of Code.
  • Promote the talent and work Liquid Studio locations in North America to position Accenture as an innovator and engineering powerhouse with clients and recruits. Ensure consistent branding and messaging for Liquid Studios in North America.
  • Support the North America Technology M&C lead to guide North America GU marketing on annual planning and budget allocations, to ensure alignment with global Technology objectives.
  • Support the development of communications for the Accenture Technology North America business lead including postcards, videos, leadership announcements, employee and operational communications.
  • Quickly evaluate and capitalize on “of the moments” executive communication and internal social media opportunities to drive connectedness with our employees.

Role Requirements:

  • Role is expected to flex regularly between working out of Accenture office location, and working in a global, virtual environment.
  • Personal flexibility to travel where and when required, and to participate in virtual meetings outside of regular business hours to connect with business leaders in other time zones.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required prefer in Marketing & Communications, journalism or related
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing & communications, preferably with some experience in the technology industry; experience in applying marketing concepts; branding and message development skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technology industry marketing experience preferred
  • Previous executive communications experience highly desired
  • Strong organization, program management and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects
  • Excellent Digital, Social Media and PowerPoint skills
Professional Skills:
  • Proven ability to provide deep and original thinking about complex issues
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience
  • Executive presence, and a strong knowledge of the technology industry and landscape
