As the Instructional System Designer, you will be responsible for developing the Train the Trainer courseware and training materials for a United States Government client.  This effort is part of a large software integration project. You will interact with system development, application design, and software testing teams, in order to meet focused training deliverables for a new pay specific functionality and capability. In this fast-paced environment, you will be expected to participate in Sprint sessions, planning meeting and other program specific events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated experience writing lesson objectives, drafting courseware for adult learners
  • Participate in and contribute to course planning meetings, create Course Design documents
  • Write learning training objectives and evaluation criteria
  • Create training scenarios and case studies to include system functionality and US Government procedures
  • Prepare Plans of Instruction (POIs) and Course Syllabus for Instructors
  • Maintain formatting requirements and follow version control procedures to ensure standards are met


Basic Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree in related field or 4 years of professional experience
  • 3 years of Instructional System Design experience: development, demonstration, evaluation and sustainment of software training materials to including experience writing content, developing course materials, instructor guides, process flow diagrams, job aids, and knowledge evaluation
  • U.S. Citizenship required
Additional preferred skills and qualifications:
  • Possess critical thinking, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with E-Learning development methods and tools to include knowledge of SCORM standards
  • ISD Certification
  • Experience and knowledge to ensure documents and training deliverables are Section 508 Compliant


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
