Job Description:
The Public Service Technology Consulting Consultant has the following responsibilities:
  • Identify, assess and solve moderately complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Interact with client and/or Accenture team members on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Understand that decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.
Work Location and Travel:
  • This position is primarily intended to serve Public Service clients across the State of Florida.
  • Successful candidates will be required to live within 90 miles of one of Accenture’s offices in either Tallahassee, Tampa, or Miami.
  • Any costs for relocation to one of those locations, if necessary, will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
  • Frequent travel within the State of Florida, or otherwise, may be required, depending on actual client location or other business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working directly for, or consulting to, Public Service organizations (i.e., government, non-profits, or education).
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in performing or leading teams in such tasks as strategic IT assessment and planning, Digital capability assessment and transformation, implementation of Artificial Intelligence capabilities, application of Blockchain-based technologies, Security assessments and improvement initiatives, Cloud solution assessments and migrations, and implementation of high-velocity ERP solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Skill Requirements:
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Desire to work in an a digital/ data systems environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
