In this role you will work closely with IT clients and team members to examine existing deployed technologies, processes, and workflows to identify issues, gaps, or opportunities for alternative solutions. You will stay on top of a broad range of current enterprise technology products, solutions, or suites via research or practical experience. Work with a great team that has been prime to this customer for several years!

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide analysis of existing customer technologies 
  • Work closely and coordinate with technology stakeholders to gather requirements, current functionality, and future needs.
  • Research IT best practices and best-of-breed technologies in order to provide recommendations to address analysis findings
  • Prepare written reports documenting analyses and/ or findings from the analysis process
  • Deliver quality work products that meet or exceed expectations and achieve measurable business results and program goals
  • Anticipate, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management/Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with DoD customers as an IT Consultant
  • Minimum 1 year of experience researching and refining technology solutions from loosely-defined requirements OR experience researching and defining technology best practices
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience with developing and providing operational support for information systems
  • Experience with DoD Cyber Security standards for information systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experienced military officers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills (oral and written; good briefing skills)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Desire to add value to the client and Accenture above and beyond the role
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
