Digital Technology Development Consultant (Multiple Positions)
Digital Technology Development Consultant (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; New York, NY): Provide consultancy services to our clients by ensuring code and design quality through testing plans. Assist in the development of standards, methodology, and repeatable processes. Work on development, testing, debugging, and documentation under direct supervision. Ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews, as directed. Participate in software design, development, and package implementation using standard platforms. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Implement testing plans developed by Associate Managers and Managers. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications, under direct supervision. Understand strategic direction set by management as it relates to team goals. Seek guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments and develop skills needed to execute responsibilities.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
• Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in hands-on Java & J2EE/JEE software development. Of the required experience, 2 years of experience must be in each of the following: full life cycle implementation using SDLC methodologies; developing eCommerce and/or web content management applications; working with relevant WCM or eCommerce packaged solutions, including at least one of the following: Adobe AEM (CQ), hybris, Oracle/ATG, Sterling Order Management, Manhattan Associates, Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware/Cloud Craze, and/or IBM WebSphere Commerce; and web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented design.
• Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
