Technology Consulting Manager (Multiple Positions)
Technology Consulting Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; New York, NY): Advise upon, lead and work on high impact activities within the systems development lifecycle and provide advisory work for the IT function itself. Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for the client. Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand. Deliver advisory services in support of technology enabled business change, i.e. package & third party integrator selection, vendor selection, application studies, solution architecture studies and/or program diagnostics and recovery. Identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors that are implemented by the team. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Supervise a team of computer systems analysts. Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management. Interact with client or internal senior management.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
• Of the required experience, 5 years of experience must be in each of the following: Technology implementation in project settings, including requirements gathering, configuration, specification development, testing, and deployment and Trading Platform implementation, focusing in the integration area across the whole project lifecycle using Trading Platform Calypso. Of the required experience, 4 years of experience must be in Project Management across the whole implementation lifecycle, including leading mid to large size teams - onshore as well as offshore. Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following: Deep Technology and Business understanding of Collateral Management, Back Office and Accounting for OTC Derivatives and Capital Markets System Landscape and the corresponding Operating Model - both technical and functional - with Buy-Side and Sell-Side clients.
• Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs..
