Industry X.0

A new area within Accenture Digital is Industry X.0, an advanced, digitally enabled, innovative, planning and investment approach for manufacturing and asset-intensive industries. In your role within our Industry X.0 team, you’ll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves into the core of industry in product development and manufacturing environments.

 

You’ll help them transform their product, manufacturing and product related services value chains in Products, Communications, Media, High Tech, Aerospace & Defense, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas and Utilities. YOUR ROLE: Digital Thread Advisor Manager

 

We are looking for an ambitious Digital Thread Advisor Manager ready to take on new challenges as industries head towards engineering innovation and excellence leveraging digital technologies such as digital twin and digital thread.

 

This position has the following responsibilities

  • Deliver and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques
  • Develop recommendations in the context of the engagement and effectively communicate them to senior management and client counterparts
  • Closely follow the strategic direction set by senior management and interact with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance Has some latitude in decision-making.
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Develop proposals for business development opportunities and present to senior leadership at potential clients

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional service experience preferably in management consulting or strategy consulting
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Digital Twin and Digital Thread experience and use of automation in world class manufacturing and plant facilities
  • Understands and conversant in the Manufacturing and Products Industry issues, business process models and relevant digital technologies
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Possesses business and technical acumen on the latest digital topics, such as IoT, mobility, analytics and artificial intelligence
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in manufacturing execution systems, lean manufacturing, digital plants, computer-integrated manufacturing, manufacturing operations management
