Job Description

Data and Analytics professionals define strategies, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes.

Data Integration professionals develop deep Data Integration skills to support Accenture's data and analytics agendas, including skills such as ETL, Informatics, and data migration.

Pharmaceuticals Processes professionals enable the processes involved in creating a new drug therapeutic agent, from initial R&D to manufacturing distribution to marketing sales and all related processes. 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and or work efforts if in an individual contributor role at a client or within Accenture. Perform user acceptance testing UAT on clinical data to validate data flow and derivations in clinical data repository. Review CDISC SDTM mapping of project specific data across various therapeutic areas. Use SAS in a Windows environment to run SAS programs for UAT data extraction and verification. Participate on teams and provide programming support for large or complex programs. Accountable for meeting project timelines, major project milestones and overall project quality for assigned protocols. Support resource estimation as needed. Escalate risk with resource estimates, timelines, and deliverables. Participate in internal and client facing strategic technical, process improvement, and programming standards initiatives.
Basic Qualifications 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of CDISC SDTM implementation experience 
  • Minimum of 1 year of SAS programming experience in a clinical trial environment 

Preferred Skills 
  • Knowledge and experience with clinical trial data collection methodology, systems and study execution, project management and communication skills required to work directly with client on cross functional clinical study teams and lead work activities in global environment
  • Thorough knowledge of programming techniques especially in SAS

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication written and oral and interpersonal skills
